An Expensive Bells and Whistles Ice-Coater… The Margaritaville Mixed Drink Machine is an expensive little bit of fun. At the moment the Mrs. And I can think of no real competitor… if you’re looking for a machine that will act as a mini-bartender and dispense a variety of mixed drinks, this is the machine.There is a definite limited-duration “wow” factor for the MMDM once set up – and the set-up is quite easy, as is the clean-up for a device with so many parts. In addition to ease of setup and cleaning the machine seems pretty sturdy – plastic parts are mixed with metal ones, but there isn’t a “cheap, flimsy” feeling. There are four tanks that are loaded on top of the machine: Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Sour Mix, and your choice of Tequila, Rum or Vodka.After you’ve correctly loaded the machine and punched the button choosing the liquor of choice the machine gives a cheer (really) and tells you “Fins Up!” Then the show starts.
