Great beginner beer, need to wait a few extra weeks for GREAT Beer! This is my first batch of home brew. I got the kit from my wife for christmas and was overjoyed since most of my guy friends are brewers also. With help from them, I boiled down from 6 gallons to 4 and then only added 1 gallon of water to my wort at the end. Easy process and tasted great when I racked the beer, but at week 4 of conditioning the beer was still a bit sweet. Good, but not Great. (Read update below) I have read on here that the flavor gets better after 5+ weeks so I will update after I try it this weekend! I am hoping it is as good as the other have commented.**UPDATE**I tasted this beer again after 6 weeks in the bottle and WOW ... Absolutely amazing! I changed from 4 to 5 stars! I can't beleive the difference from weeks 4-5 til now. The beer holds great head retention and tastes amazing! I was a little reluctant after a disappointing first taste, but the extra few weeks wait was well worth the wait. I had 6 of them last night to celebrate...
