It’s not too heavy for the trimming work that I use it for, bits are easy to install and remove, the height adjustment works well for fine-tuning the depth of cut, and the clear base and light really help a lot in seeing exactly what the business-end of the router is doing. It’s the first soft-start tool I’ve owned and in the future I’ll never want one without this feature. My only reservation concerns how comfortable this router would be for long sessions of production work. Perhaps it’s just what I’m used to from past trimmers or the result of my aging hands, but I think my hand would get fatigued if I used this router for 20-30 minutes It’s not as comfortable as some I’ve used.
