Not a bad product, allot better than I expected. The cigar tube is not too bad at all...A little bulky, but what do you expect for a tube designed to hold a 54 ring stogie. It is not air tight, and does not lock in smell, but in its defense it does not claim to. The entire thing, except for the cap which is plastic, is sturdy aluminum, so I would not try and snub out a cigar inside of it against the cap, because it might melt. I could be wrong, but I am not going to chance it.As for the flip cap, several of the other reviews say it is poorly made. Personally I do not think it will break, unless you try and do it on purpose. If you use it as it was intended, it should not break.Overall the construction is solid, and should last a very long time. Will work perfectly for transporting your favorite smoke. Should keep it nice and safe. The $5 price tag is a steal compared to some of the other (more expensive) cigar cases I have owned thru the years. I would have gladly paid $15-$20 for it.One more...
