It’s got a big gameboard to keep your cards in place, and six colored pawns that you move on the gameboard as you level up! Plus a card to go with each pawn, to make it easy to remember who is what color and whose sex has changed!Go down in the dungeon. Kill everything you meet. Backstab your friends and steal their stuff. Grab the treasure and run.Admit it. You love it.Munchkin is the mega-hit card game about dungeon adventure . . . with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm . . . or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon . . .And it’s illustrated (in full color!) by John Kovalic!Fast-playing and silly, Munchkin can reduce any roleplaying group to hysteria. And, while they’re laughing, you can steal their stuff.

Deluxe Edition should be standard Have only played a few games with some friends before I picked up this set. In my opinion, this is the way the original game should be instead of being labeled the Deluxe edition. The true difference between the original and the deluxe is simply the fact that there is a board with game tokens that you can use for counting your character’s level. The cards are also in full color, although that could be not exclusive to the Deluxe edition (I’m not 100% sure). This game is excellent for gaming groups who play games that are quite long and serious who need a break from those types of games for something a bit lighter. It is also a great for larger groups of players (5+) who are looking for something to play that is relaxing, engaging and not too complex. With the right group, the game encourages a humorous atmosphere and you’ll find yourself laughing quite a bit!The game itself keeps everyone engaged no matter who’s turn it is, because of fact that you are able…

Very fun little game, my family loves it! I have been looking for games for our family of 6 people to all play together. I wanted something fun for all our ages, with the goal being to spend more time together instead of vegging out with no interaction in front of the TV. I read about Munchkin years ago and kept putting off buying it, now I wish I had just bought it a long time ago. This is a very fun, very easy game to play and is enjoyable for everyone in our family, from ages 9-65 (youngest up to Grandma!). We all love it and have played it everyday since the day it arrived. Now we are all looking forward to adding some of the themed expansion decks. If you are looking for a good family game [way more fun than monopoly, Risk and all the other usual crap], with a quirky/geeky side of humor thrown in, this is a game worth checking out.**Update** After playing this game for several weeks since buying it, I had to revise this review to help get the word out. This game is a LOT more fun than any other…
