Great lighter, cheap housing I’m one of the guys who took the Scout motto to heart — Be Prepared. Flashlight, leatherman, swiss army knife, and lighter. I learned to love pressurized butane torches working on marine electrical equipment as a youngster. Crammed into a nook in the engine compartment, they make heat shrink tubing so much easier to work with! Alas, I have always had difficulty finding a lighter that us small enough to carry, large enough to last for more than 30 seconds, and durable enough for EDC (EveryDayCarry).This unit is small enough to carry, and seems to have a fairly impressive reservoir capacity for a pocketable torch. I confess, I’m not overly pleased with its durability. Getting off to a rocky start, the instructions were, in retrospect, clearly for a different unit. They stated that for initial filling, the screw on the bottom needed to be run all the way out. Note that there IS a screw right where the instructions say there will be, but if you remove it, the spring…
